Position Title: Recruiting Associate Position Type: Full-time Position Location: Fully Remote
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Recruiting Associate provides direct support to company leadership, employees, and clients. This role is critical to the sustainability and growth of our projects. You will work closely with various corporate personnel to include the CEO(s), COO, directors, finance, third-party recruiters, and clients (both government and commercial). In addition to existing corporate relationships, you are responsible for developing and sustaining relationships with candidates for employment within our portfolio as well as with those on contracts we support.
Recruitment Duties and Responsibilities
Build trust with hiring managers, client recruiting POCs, third-party recruiters, and potential candidates
Utilize relevant sourcing and outreach techniques to maintain a pipeline of candidates for target and high-priority labor categories (e.g., database searches, phone calls, emails, text messages, in-person meetings)
Screen candidate resumes against position requirements, verbally disclosed soft skills, salary requirements, and corporate and client/project needs.
Conduct outreach with applicants and candidates identified through various databases
Maintain detailed notes regarding screenings and technical skills, routinely conducts data-entry of said notes within ATS and weekly reports
Maintain first-line contact with all candidates in various stages of review, keeping each informed in real-time as to the status changes and updates regarding candidacy
Assists technical / program staff with information gathering, documentation, and formatting
Coordinate the scheduling interviews for candidates across all teams to include working directly with program staff, internal/external stakeholders, leadership, and others involved in the hiring process, as needed
Become an expert in our recruiting systems, tools, and processes and procedures
Document all internal and external hiring and onboarding processes; make improvements as identified and finalized with corporate leadership.
Provide weekly recruiting reports with important metrics and team updates, makes recommendations based on data / trends
Participate in external recruiting calls capturing important information on position status changes and needs of customers
Coordinate with Facility Security Officer (FSO) regarding clearance verifications and onboarding requirements based on the client/project guidelines
Identify branding and marketing needs to assist with recruitment efforts, onboarding, and employee retention
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years related technical recruiting experience, with prior experience in placing highly technical / cleared candidates within the DoD and IC contract sectors
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Additional 2 years of experience in lieu of degree
Formal Recruiting training preferred (e.g., knowledge / experience with Boolean sourcing, job board sourcing, social sourcing) seeking both active and passive candidates leveraging a variety of open-source tools, internal / external databases, social media forums, and technical groups.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
