Position Title: Data Analyst/Action Officer Position Type: On site Location: Huntsville, AL Clearance: Secret (or ability to obtain)
Description: Waypoint’s client is seeking a Data Analyst/Action Officer to support their Army customer in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities: Candidates would be responsible for anticipating the needs of management and proactively addressing issues with an emphasis on sound judgment, and initiative. Work closely with a high-performing, fast-paced team to support government clients. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various executives' styles, methods of operation, and authorities. Perform tasks in a variety of areas to include:
Tracking important milestones or actions for management/team
Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications
Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures
Experience preparing EXORDS, FRAGOS, OPORDS
Interact with clients, government officials and other executives in the private sector
Verbal and written communications must be timely and demonstrate the consistent ability to presents ideas and communicate information in a clear and concise manner
Drafting, writing and editing reports, briefs, correspondence and other documents
Laisse with key internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree or higher
3+ years for experience
Extensive experience with MS Office, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
Strong written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, strong organizational skills
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Excellent attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables
A high-level performer with the ability to be proactive and respond rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Desired Skills:
Former Military or DoD Staff Experience
Knowledge of business intelligence platforms (PowerBi, Tableau, etc.) preferred
Required Education: Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
