Waypoint’s client is seeking a Software Engineering Coordinator to facilitate collaboration between teams supporting various products. This role involves daily tasks such as requirements analysis, engineering and design in an agile environment, data model development, and support for cloud technology adoption. The Software Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for developing user stories, planning, and tracking software development activities, and mentoring team members. Additionally, this role will involve coordinating integration tasks, managing risks, and preparing documentation and presentations.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate efforts with personnel supporting other products to ensure effective collaboration.
Conduct requirements analysis and engineering design in an agile environment.
Analyze alternatives and develop data models to support product development.
Support cloud technology adoption initiatives within the organization.
Develop user stories and plan and track software development activities.
Prepare and maintain software development schedules.
Mentor team members and provide guidance on engineering and design tasks.
Perform impact assessments of new requirements or change requests.
Direct design activities and coordinate integration tasks.
Develop architecture and design artifacts to guide product development.
Manage risks associated with software development projects.
Prepare briefing slides and document/diagram interfacing systems.
Provide status updates and lead Technical Exchange Meetings.
Record meeting minutes to convey information and actions effectively.
Requirements:
Ability to create Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Systems Engineering artifacts.
Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) concepts and their application in software development.
